Founded in 2008 by Pastor Barry and Co-Pastor Phyllis Primes, Fellowship of Faith Christian Center (FOFCC) exists to teach, equip, and empower believers to live out their divine purpose through faith in Jesus Christ.

Meet Our Pastors
Pastor Barry and First Lady Phyllis Primes are the founders and spiritual leaders of Fellowship of Faith Christian Center in Northwest Houston, Texas. Together, they have faithfully served since 2008 with a shared vision to “Make a Real Difference in the Lives of Real People.” Their ministry is built on authenticity, biblical truth, and a deep love for God’s people.
As a dynamic husband-and-wife team, they embody both leadership and compassion; teaching, mentoring, and equipping believers to grow in faith, strengthen families, and live out their divine purpose. Their genuine spirit and unwavering commitment to excellence continue to shape lives, inspire service, and transform the community through the power of God’s Word.

Pastor Barry Primes
Lead Pastor, Founder & Visionary
Pastor Barry Primes is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Fellowship of Faith Christian Center in Northwest Houston, Texas. Since 2008, he has led with a passion for “Making a Real Difference in the Lives of Real People.”
A retired Federal Executive, and a U.S. Army Veteran, Pastor Barry brings over 30 years of leadership and ministry experience. He is a thought leader and a national speaker. Pastor is a Certified Information Professional (CIP), an AIIM’s Fellow, holds an MBA, and is currently a Doctoral Candidate in Organizational Leadership at Capella University (expected completion February 2026).
A gifted preacher and teacher, Pastor Barry combines professional excellence with pastoral wisdom to deliver the Word of God with depth, relevance, and clarity; helping believers grow in faith and live out their divine purpose.
First Lady Phyllis Primes
Co-Pastor & First Lady
First Lady Phyllis Primes serves alongside her husband, Pastor Barry Primes, as Co-Pastor of Fellowship of Faith Christian Center in Northwest Houston, Texas. A passionate teacher, encourager, and intercessor, she is deeply committed to helping believers grow in faith, purpose, and spiritual maturity.
A retired Master Educator, First Lady Phyllis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, a Master’s in Curriculum and Development from National Louis University, and a Master’s in Education Administration from Texas Southern University.
Known for her wisdom, grace, and genuine love for people, she inspires others to walk in excellence and integrity. Her ministry empowers women to embrace their God-given identity and live victoriously through faith, prayer, and the Word of God.
